  King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), a PlumX Dashboards customer, has written an excellent LibGuide about this product.

One clever thing they did on their LibGuide page was to embed the PlumX Group Level Widget. Since this widget dynamically changes when items are added to their PlumX Dashboard the LibGuide will always be up to date. Additionally, it provides a convenient link to their dashboard. An example of this widget is below.

KAUST also leverages their ORCID profiles to build researcher profiles in PlumX. The researchers have ORCIDs and add their works to their profiles in ORCID. PlumX automatically creates profiles and gathers metrics for these works. According to the KAUST LibGuide:

The PlumX dashboard includes individual metrics profiles for all faculty and research scientists at KAUST based on the items connected to each person’s ORCID ID in the KAUST repository.
