PlumX is a subscription-based platform for tracking research impact. We’re pleased to provide a platform for developers to create their own metrics dashboards and embed PlumX metrics into their websites and applications.
For the majority of our customers, embedding PlumX created data within your website or application through the use of widgets is likely going to be the most appropriate mechanism.
We have strived to make this process as fun and painless as possible. You can get sample code, and see the different options on our widget documentation page.
If you are looking for article level metrics to embed in your institutional repository, our PlumX Metrics product was created for this purpose.
If your integration needs are more than what widget integration allows, we provide an API for our customers to interact with their data. You can get the details in github. (See http://github.com/PlumAnalytics/plum-api).
In addition to retrieving article level metrics. you can also interact with users, groups, and grants within PlumX.
To get started with using the API, you will need to get a developer key. Please request a key here.
If you are new to PlumX and would like to embed article level widgets in your site or build user and or group profiles.
